I’m waiting for my watch to tell me to stand up.
I was wondering if I was alive? Then I took a selfie.

No, I won’t stay on the line after this call and take your survey. In fact I am boycotting surveys until you hire a human to answer your phones.
I took off my so called smart watch. It doesn’t seem to know what time it is. Keeps asking me to stand when I just sat.
My car is in “the shop”. It’s been so relaxing, riding the CTA. I have a senior card. Riding from 79th & South Shore Drive to Lawrence & California costs $1.15 and zero stress.
I go up there to take care of a dog. His name is Hank and he’s smarter than that watch! He was trying to get my attention the other day. He dug around in his box of toys until he found the squeaky squirrel that I HATE!! Then he stood at the foot of the couch squeaking until I chased him out the back door.

We’re good buddies. It’s great to have a part time dog.
You may wonder, what else have I been doing? Well, this week is the marking of thirty three years of continuous uninterrupted sobriety for me. So, that’s a great thing. The world is a safer place.
I’m continuing my studies into nervous system regulation, brain body connection, and pain management through a deep box of tools. The work is fascinating and rewarding. Although, finding students or other interested parties has been difficult. I even hired a coach to help me with my “message”. I’m not keen on social media so, that’s one thing. The other is a lack of confidence. Especially when I look around in social media for ideas. OMG!! That’s a whole other thing. Distracting and anxiety producing.
For now I’m just staying on my path, in my lane.
Soon it will be time to go on the bus to pick up my car. It cost almost one whole social security check to fix. Crazy.
Everything in Chicago is blooming all at once. I can’t help but be impressed. So, there is that.
