I’m in the waiting room at NWH to pick up my neighbor from a medical procedure. A woman sitting near me is texting furiously with the sound of typing turned on. I’m thinking to myself, hmmm, that’s really annoying, can I say something? Meanwhile, I’m also working a crossword puzzle. One of the clues is, “Communication that is tapped”. Answer, Morse code.
Driving home from having dumplings in China Town we’re chatting about other possible food outings in the future. I say that I still want to try that new Hot Pot restaurant on Halsted in Bridgeport.
Later at home the crossword asks for the name of the kind of meal cooked at the table. Hot Pot!
