Really?!

Really?? Disapprove the Polio vaccine? My head is spinning. I can’t even!

I can’t even concentrate on finding words to express how baffling it all sounds.

Then I thought, maybe that’s another tactic of this new administration? One declaration more outrageous than the last. Keep us all in a state of baffled outrage so we don’t notice the sleight of hand. Why not? It has worked so far.

For the most part I have kept my distance from the “news”. It seeps in regardless. Out of the corner of my eye some snippet will catch my attention.

Since seeing the suggestion that people are trying to get the Polio vaccine disapproved my brain has been spinning.

Will insurance cover a Polio outbreak? Didn’t the Taliban try to prevent aid workers from vaccinating people in Iraq? Or Afghanistan? Like the Taliban, our homegrown fanatics are succeeding. They used the election to get their way. The man doesn’t care about any of this stuff. He’s a puppet for an army of goons. What the actual fuck? I can’t even!

Our poor stressed nervous systems.

I need to stay away from the daily onslaught. Just stick to my routine. Get plenty of rest. Swim at the Y. Eat well. Walk outside. Play music and dance around. Teach a little neurogenic yoga.

Eight forty five now. I’ll do just that.
